FOURSOMES MATCHPLAY RULES
FOURSOMES:
Check Draw-sheet for dates by which each round MUST BE COMPLETED.
1. There will be no extension to closing dates under any circumstances.
2.
Both players may be disqualified if no result is posted on the closing date.
3.
The onus is on each player to communicate with the organisers in all
matters.
4.
Players play off their correct handicaps at the time of the match.
5.
If level after 18 holes – proceed to 1st for sudden death - both players
play off scratch if match proceeds after 18 holes.
6.
Competition organisers decision is final.
Handicap differential:
½ of the full difference between the aggregate handicap of each side.
e.g.
6&14 vs 10&18
= (20-28)/2
= 8/2
= 4
